PHIL CAISLEY

Phil is a singer-songwriter, guitarist and teacher residing in Northumberland, UK. He works solo and with his band, Psychedelic Skyhawk Collective.

He is self taught from the age of 15 and his musical inspiration is taken from blues, folk,  rock, jazz and flamenco. He has played in various original/cover bands over his career, has written hundreds of songs and is a dedicated improviser.

Phil has spent recent years in Virtual Rainbow Studios with his good mate Steve Bailey, recording and mixing a variety of projects. 

In 2018 he recorded Understanding Love and Peace which showcases his soulful, eclectic passion and the Praying for Rain Trilogy has been finalized recently at Steve's gaff, namely Tales from the Edge of Oblivion, Tales of Heartbreak and Redemption, Tales of Decadence and Decay.

Continuing with the "Collective" sound, Phil is working on a new album of blues-rock songs. Although there is a nod to the great blues artists of the past, he has brought the genre into modern times, without compromise.
